United Kingdom The Jacobite Steamtrain | NOT on Glenfinnan Viaduct
The most-known spot to take a picture of the "Harry Potter"-train is at the Glenfinnan viaduct, but that's why it's really crowded. There are some other spots to take a nice picture of the train where you're nearly alone :)
Just follow the road from Glenfinnan to Mallaig and you'll find some laybys beside the road from where you've a nice view to the mountains and the train.

Photography Tips
Have a look at the time-table of the Jacobite ;) http://www.westcoastrailways.co.uk/jacobite/dates-times-prices-jacobite-steam-train.cfm
Be at the place earlier, sometimes the train is faster - or slower ;)
