A stunning sunset viewpoint looking out over Ladybower Reservoir.

A torch - if you are going for a sunset shoot this can be helpful for finding your way back to the car.

Travel Information
Use postcode S330AD as a guide for Sat Nav to the parking layby.
Follow the A6013 onto New Road. Continue on New Road until you reach a layby on your left just after a small woodland on your right hand side. Park in the layby and go over the stile, following the track until it forks in two. Take either of the two tracks but note the path to the left provides a slightly easy ascent due to a more gradual incline. Follow the track for approximately 20 to 25 minutes and you will find Bamford Edge.
Both tracks take you to Bamford Edge past some steep hill tops with no barriers. Care must be taken when taking this route particularly on windy or low light / visibility conditions. It is possible to deviate slightly from the track to avoid walking beside the steep edge by walking on the moorland.
Sturdy footwear such as walking boots is highly recommended.
