Excellent spot for seashore shots. This single tree adds interest in the foreground and the wonderful Irish skies add additional interest. There is an ancient grave next to the tree and only the white outline remains. The portrait shot shows Scotland in the distance. The landscape shot really reveals the sky.

Photography Tips

Always use a sturdy tripod. Graduated ND filters are also very important.

Travel Information

This spot is close to Balleycastle, less than a fifteen minute drive. There is easy access and very few people in the area. These shots were taken in the afternoon. This would be an outstanding sunrise location.
