This is one of the smaller falls in the George. But what it lacks in size it makes up in sheer beauty.

Bring a sturdy tripod, a polarizer, and some ND filters.try shutter speeds of around a second for the milky look with some texture in it.

Travel Information

Take I-84 east from Portland and turn onto the scenic byway (Historic Columbia River Highway). Park at the Whakerna Falls parking lot and hike roughly half an hour up the Whakeena Trail to get to the falls.
