Nice photo spot for sunset, sunrise and stars. Sadly Phoenix is to close in the south so only the north part of the sky is good

Photography Tips

Have a tripod with you for night sky photography and a 16-35mm lens (10-22mm on crop). At 16mm you can use up to 30 sec exposure time.

Travel Information

Follow the Apache trail AZ 88 after the point where it is gets a gravel road. After 2-3 miles you see a parking lot on the left. Can be done in dry conditions with a normal car. This place is around 1 hour drive von Chandler AZ.
