USA Flamingo Marina

This is nature doing what nature does, pockets of human intervention, yet more than enough space for wildlife to be wildlife. A trip to Florida is not the same for me without at least a day in the Everglades.

Patients and a long lens. Bring a lunch. Winter slows down the reptiles and they tend to sun themselves more. August can be a bit buggie. On the map you can see the change in water - Crocodiles and Aligators can be found here. Aligators are inland, with the fresh water, Crocodiles often sun themselves on the far side bank near the Marina.

Easy to get to and loads of parking.
