USA View of New Orleans downtown from Algiers Point

This is one of the best places to view the NOLA skyline from across the Mississippi river. You need to take the ferry just across where the canal street ends and this place is exactly next to the Algiers Ferry terminal. If you want NOLA skyline along with the bridge, you need to walk 1.5 miles (2.41 km) south from there, there's a nice riverside walk and it gives amazing view. But I didnt had time to do that!

A wide angle lens is definitely recommended, but if you want a tight panoramic shot you can use as long lens as well. A tripod is must and should as it could be quite windy on most days.

You can drive and there is lots of parking space here. But the best and cheapest way would be to take the ferry from other side of the river.
