Lake Pontchartrain Causeway gives a wonderful view of the downtown NOLA along with the Mercedes-Benz super dome! This shot was taken not in any ideal conditions or equipment. If you have both of those it would be wonderful shot!!

Photography Tips

If you have a 70-200 f/2.8 it would be best as it is quite faraway and a tripod is definitely needed!! The best time would be either during sunrise/sunset or after sunset with downtown light on!!

Travel Information

No public transport! You need to have a car and there are couple crossovers over this causeway, the 1st crossover gives the best and nearest view of the downtown. You can park here as well crossing over to the other side of the causeway!
