There are several places along the Jersey shore where you can photograph downtown Manhattan, but this spot gives the best line up of buildings in front of the Freedom Tower. You can take an almost symmetrically composed photo here.

Photography Tips

Golden hour or blue hour are great here. Bring a tripod and filters for long exposure to get the water smooth, or nice cloud textures.

Travel Information

The best way from Manhattan is probably to take the PATH underground system. It is only one stop from the World Trade Center transport hub called the Oculus. Please note that the trainsd only run on weekdays, so in the weekend it is a more roundabout way to get here.
