USA Madison River, Yellowstone National Park
In Yellowstone National Park, along the Madison river, you can spot wildlife like the bisons, elks at dawn.
Photography Tips
You will need as long telephoto lens to capture wildlife. This was shot with a 400mm lens mounted on a Nikon D7100.
Travel Information
Drive along Highway 20/Highway 191 between West Yellowstone, MT and Madison Campground. I found this bison grazing close to the river about 3 miles west of the Campground and the lighting was perfect. There is ample parking on the side of the road.
