Ha! I got a similar shot in Minneriya National Park, Sri Lanka. Given how easy they are for birds to find, its amazing that there are any frogs left. Nice shot.

Everglades are perfect for feasting shots too, I, never seen the retiles eating, but plenty of birds. Sri Lanka is on my list, will make it there one day and will be sure to check out spots flagged here before I go! Thanks for the Minneroya tip!

If you’re going to Sri Lanka for photography, I’d strongly recommend Saman Weeratunga who has photos in the Sri Lanka section. He picked us up from the airport, sorted out phone SIM cards, dropped us off and collected us from hotels (advised on which ones had the best views).. He knows everyone so we never queued; he knows the locations, including less well-known ones, and the best times to be there. Best of all, he taught me so much about photography with my own camera. If, like me, you want a tailored service, start talking to him a month or so before you arrive. Absolute gentleman.
