Union Station in Denver is a pretty cool area from an architectural perspective. I wouldn't go too far out of the way to get here, but it's a good spot to swing by for a few minutes if you're in the area.

Photography Tips

I personally find the exterior more interesting than the interior, but the lobby inside is a decent spot for some street photography. For the exterior architectural shot included above, bring a wide lens -- I took that at 35mm, but something a little wider would make things easier. Night shots can be pretty dramatic here, so make sure to bring a tripod!

There's lots of parking around downtown Denver -- find a spot and start wandering! Or, if you prefer public transportation, this spot IS a train station... :)
