It takes about an hour to walk up from the carpark. In Autumn it snowed on us walking up to the lake.

Photography Tips

Sunrise - the sun will light up the mountain peaks. When I was there the orange light glowed to get 2 photos, then it disappeared and came back yellow for one shot only, then disappeared. No processing required!
