Winchester house built by Sarah Winchester, the widow of American firearm magnate William Winchester. Styled in Queen Ann style Victorian mansion built from 1884-1922. The 2018 film Winchester based on this house and the widow. Free admission to the grounds with an optional paid tour of the inside of the mansion.

Travel Information

It is a surprisingly popular tourist destination near Silicon Valley and San Francisco. A reservation is recommended for the paid tour but if one wants only to see the mansion from the outside and enjoy the grounds then no reservation is needed.
