USA Upper Antelope Canyon

This image was taken in a small slot canyon just before the entrance to Upper Antelope Canyon. Our tour of Antelope finished a little early and the tour guides took us here to finish off the tour. There were no crowds here, just the 8 people from our tour group.

Photography Tips

This canyon was a little different than Upper Antelope Canyon. It was open at the top which let in lots of light. You could also take your time and didn't have tor use your shots. I took several shots (over and under-exposed) and combined them in Lightroom to create this HDR image.

Travel Information

Antelope Canyon is located just outside of Page AZ and is on Navajo land. You can only tour the canyons through one of the local tour companies. Although not a part of Upper Antelope Canyon, this particular canyon is located a short distance from the entrance to Upper Antelope Canyon.
