USA Owls Head Lighthouse from the Beach, Maine
This is a shot of Owls Head Lighthouse from the beach or should I say the rocks. It is quite a task to get to the spot to take a photo of the lighthouse from the beach. On the other side of the lighthouse there is a path that leads to the beach but you cannot see the Lighthouse.
Photography Tips
This is a stitched Pano of the lighthouse
Travel Information
To get down on the beach it needs to be low tide and from the car park there is a bit of a track with a rope to help you get down then you need to walk around the rock climbing across seaweed which is very wet and slippery. You need to climb around to find a position that you can see the lighthouse. I found that once I had finished I could climb up to the track and walk back to the car. Please be very careful when making the trek to the spot and ensure the sea is not rough
