USA Alaska Dalton Highway Wilderness Roadtrip

For those who love road trips and seek loneliness at the same time, this is the ultimate drive you can get. You can follow the sun for hundreds of miles through Alaska´s wilderness until it disappears in the arctic ocean.
For everyone, not driving with a camper, it makes sense, to stay over night in Coldfoo or Wiseman - which is about half way - as you´ll be driving on gravel road at low speed, you might not make it all the way in just one day
The most challenging, yet most impressive ride I´ve ever done!

As you will be driving on gravel, not every car rental will allow you to take their cars on this road.
Look out for specific rentals, which can be found either in Anchorage or Fairbanks.
Make sure to have a spare tire, some food and drinks - there are only 2 stops on the way to get gas and and something to eat.
