USA Clarks Bay, Outerbanks, North Carolina

Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo are three small towns on NC–12 that seem to blend together. It’s very hard to tell where one stops and the other begins. Clarks Bay is a bay located just 23.3 miles from Wanchese, in Dare County, in the state of North Carolina, United States, near Salvo, NC. As you near the end of civilization and reenter the National Park Service property, you will see a beach access on your left.

Find your way to the Outerbanks of North Carolina. Follow Caratoke Hwy, US-158 E and NC-12 S to your destination in Kinnakeet. Continue onto US-158 E and make slight left onto Cape Hatteras National Park Rd. Continue onto NC-12 S and then turn right toward Campground Rd.
