USA Yellowstone Park - Winter
Yellowstone is impressive, and much more accessible, in the summer. But during the winter the tourists are gone and the animals are easy to spot int he snow. A very large park with hot springs and geysers.
Photography Tips
A good travel lens - 24-105 mm for wide shots and a 400 mm for the animals. Tripod helps on waterfalls and tracking animals. Weather is a factor as it is very cold - so extra batteries, gloves you can operate our camera, plastic bag for camera to warm up in to avoid condensation...
Travel Information
You can only visit the park in winter on a guided tour. There are several but i would focus on tours specific to photography - they will stay longer in an area to capture animals and know where animals are spotted. All of my pictures were taken from the road.
