USA Monte Cristo Ghost Town
Monte Cristo was a thriving silver mining town at the turn of the last century. The silver ore became to expensive to mine and the town slowly died out over the course of the 20th century. The Monte Cristo Preservation Society has been restoring and preserving the town structures since the mid-1980s. http://mc-pa.org/?page_id=6
