USA Lower Lewis Falls
Lower Lewis Falls is an excellent spot for photography and hiking. This photo happens to be a night shot, taken from a well marked path 100 meters from parking. Different angles at closer range can be managed by those who want to climb down a steep hillside and wade into cold water. There is a camp site here for those who are inclined. Mt. St. Helens hiking trails and the Bat Caves are nearby for more photo opportunities.
Photography Tips
The waterfall is beautiful under a full moon, or in the late afternoon. I have seen spectacular fall foliage photos taken in late September through October.
Be aware on sunny days that the contrast is really high and the atmosphere is completely different
