USA Valley of the Golden Mushroom
Nice place off the beaten path and many photograph opportunities. I have been here many times and never seen anyone else when I was there.
Photography Tips
You will need to do a bit of hiking and a bit of climbing to get up here but the hike is a good one and there is plenty of things to photograph. Get an early start as the lower the sun is in the sky, the better the color is in the rock formations.
Travel Information
From Page, AZ go West on Highway 89A to road K7065 keep going until it dead ends at the trail head. Take the trail as it heads toward Chimney Rock. I suggest leaving the trail and hike to Chimney Rock as it is good place to shoot some nice photos. Once you get past Chimney Rock look to the Northwest and you will see a fairly high pink rock formation, Hike to it and just on the other side of it you will find this small canyon with many yellow formations called toadstools.
