USA Zion Nature Center
There’s a small hill just a few yards north of the Zion Nature Center that I like to climb early in the morning. The total elevation of the hill is probably no more than thirty feet but provides a nice view of the mountains of Zion in the distance, often shrouded in fog or in the winter, blanketed in snow. While there are none in the image, I’ve never been in this spot without seeing a half dozen or more mule deer, usually still bedded down. It’s just a very peaceful tranquil spot. I don’t meditate per se but if I did, I’d come here to do it.
Photography Tips
If you get there just after sunrise you’ll likely have the area all to yourself even during the heavy summer tourist season.
