As we were driving county roads near Ridgeway, Colorado searching for yellow aspens I spotted this pond with Mt. Sneffels in the background. The water was perfectly still at the time but was wind whipped less than hour later.

Travel Information

From Ridgeway, drive west, then south on Hw. 62 to County Road 7. Turn left (south) on 7 and drive 3.5 miles to the pond. There’s room to park on the side of the road there.
