USA Valley of Fire State Park
From my perspective, there’s no better time to be at Valley of Fire State Park than immediately after a heavy rainstorm. The sandstone becomes saturated, enriching the colours even more. This was one of those days.

Travel Information
From the Valley of Fire Visitor Center drive 5 miles (8 km) up Mouse Tank Road to the Duck Rock Rte. access road. The road is usually closed but there is room to park there just off Mouse Tank Rd. This photo was taken from the other side of Mouse Tank road just off the pavement.
