USA Going to the Sun Road
There are many things to see along the Going to the Sun Road including waterfalls, mountains, grizzly bears, and wildflowers during the summer. The Fireweed was on full display on the third week in July.
Photography Tips
Going to the Sun Road is extremely popular during the summer tourist season (closed in the winter). Get on the road as early as possible. By mid-morning, traffic will likely be bumper to bumper so if you find space to park at any pullout or parking lot, take at least a minute to stop and take a look around. There’s probably something worth looking at and photographing.
