USA Kolob Road
During daytime hours, the drive up Kolob road is spectacular. The brilliant red rock monoliths, shrub covered cinder cones, and odd shaped hoodoos provide endless photo opportunities. During summer nights, the same landscape provides nice silhouettes in front of the Milky Way. This section of Kolob Road provides a high elevation look at Zion Canyon.
Photography Tips
Note to self: While waiting on a 30 second exposure, avoid touching the door handle of your vehicle if that automatically turns on your headlights and taillights.
