Beautiful and easy spot to get to with an amazing reflection of Mt. Shuksan. There is a walking path around the lake that faces the mountain directly. I walked onto the dirt to capture this so I wouldn't have moss in my foreground. This will look nicer with the peak of fall colors, usually in early October.

Photography Tips

I shot this at sunset because sunrise was around 5am and the drive was 1.5 from Bellingham. Sunrise would be nice too. Wait until the sun just finishes off the mountain - most of the people left by the time I shot this and this one was my favorite.

Parking is incredibly easy...just park next to the lakeand find the walking path.
