The beautiful drive up Kolob Terrace Road is well worth the 20-25 minutes it takes to get to this spot. There are numerous photo ops along the way. Your reward from here is a long-distance high-elevation view of Zion National Park.

Travel Information

From SR9 in Virgin, Utah drives 14 miles (22.5 km) up Kolob Terrace Road to a dirt road on the right. There are no signs indicating the road is private but you can only drive .8 miles (1.3 km) before you encounter a gate. The land beyond the gate is private property. I parked at a pullout a few meters past the road and walked a hundred meters or so to this spot.
