Hunter's Point South Park and Gantry Plaza State Park are located next to one another and is a great location for a walk and for me is also one of the best photo locations for the New York City skyline with the East River. In the summer you can have a beer and enjoy the view.

Sunrise or sunset are the best times for taking pictures and do not forget you tripod!

Travel Information

You can take the ferry boat from Manhattan or cross the river taking the cable car at Queensborobridge. Both are great opportunities for more pictures. :-)
