USA Moonbow at Cumberland Falls
One of the largest volume waterfalls in eastern US, RARE location to see a moonbow in the mist of the falls during full moon. Nice falls and hikes any time as well. Daniel Boone National Forest great location for other regional sights: Natural Bridge, Abandoned coal mines
Photography Tips
plan ahead to go on a clear night at full moon. Probably around midnight or later, moon clears the trees and creates a moonbow in the mist over the falls. Set up above the falls on the wall. By naked eye is mostly looks like a white sphere over the falls, but you can bring out the colors with long exposure.
