USA Saguaro National Park
I'm certain there are other locations in the West Saguaro National Park to shoot with cactus in the picture. This was my favourite having travelled throughout the park looking for the best spot. It gave a bit of elevation to look down and still see the mountains in the background. This is on the N. Sandario Rd. Other locations include the N. Kinney Road heading towards W. Gates Pass which also has some nice locations.
Photography Tips
Arrive early to scout the site in advance. There are plenty of areas to pull off and set up. Be sure to use your tripod and remote shutter release with the aperture set to at least f/16 to maximize the sunburst effect.
Travel Information
You can drive either via Gates Pass or W. Picture Rocks Rd. I found the later better as I wasn't always looking behind me to see the sun but always looking towards the sun. I would suggest driving both directions to scout your site.
