USA Halona Beach Cove
This is a photo of the popular and well known Halona Beach Cove in south-east Oahu.
Photography Tips
This spot is a little challenging to shoot. You will absolutely need a wide angle lens to capture the entire scene. Also, as mentioned above, this area is located on the south-east side of the island. So neither sunrise nor sunset will likely provide the perfect light.
Additionally, it is very popular. So it's difficult to photograph without any people. I was lucky. Late in the evening there were some rain showers. So almost everyone cleared out for a short time.
To blur the water, you'll likely need an ND filter. A tripod is obviously necessary.
This is a 3 photo HDR (-2EV, Nominal, +2EV). The specs of the nominally exposed photo are shown below:
Camera: Sony Alpha A7 III
Lens: Sony 16-35 f/2.8 G-Master
Shutter Speed: 1.3 sec
Aperture: f/7.1
ISO: 250
Focal Length: 17mm full frame (approx. 11mm on an APS-C sensor)
The 3 photos were merged in Lightroom using the HDR Merge function.

Travel Information
Just take Highway 72 (Kalaniana'ole Hwy) towards the Halona Blowhole lookout pull off. Parking can be crowded and you may have to wait for a spot.
To get to this exact spot you'll need to hop the fence and climb down the cliff face a little bit. If you choose to do this, be super careful. One could easily slip and fall ~20m to their death on the rocks at the bottom of the cove.
There is a path down to the cove and this would certainly
