USA China Walls
This is a photo of Maunalua Bay and southern Oahu taken from the China Walls. This area has become extremely popular for locals/visitors to swim, surf, and watch the sunset.
Photography Tips
This area is crowded, even on weekdays. Stake out your spot.
You will be shooting into the sun, so consider which filters you may require (polarizing, ND, graduated ND). Your camera's dynamic range will be challenged. I would also recommend a tripod and a wide angle lens.
The first/main photo is a 3-photo HDR (-2EV, Nominal, +2EV) which was blended with the Adobe Lightroom Merge function. The specs of the nominally exposed photo are shown below:
Camera: Sony Alpha A7 III
Lens: Sony 16-35 f/2.8 G-Master
Shutter Speed: 1/50 sec
Aperture: f/11
ISO: 125
Focal Length: 16mm full frame (approx. 11mm on an APS-C sensor)

Travel Information
This spot is pretty easy to access. It's located at the southern tip of Oahu. Follow Kalaniana'ole Hwy towards southern Oahu. Put Hanapepe Pl. into your GPS. There is an entrance at the cul de sac, and plenty of parking exists in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
There is a small climb down the walls. Then you'll have some cool views of Maunalua Bay. Find a composition which works and try to get a good spot. There are lots of people who come for the sunset, swimming, photos, etc.
