In the middle of Cook's Meadow in Yosemite Valley is a large oak. In the fall when the leaves are golden, you can catch the sun rising above the edge of the valley and next to Half Dome. It's quite a sight.

Travel Information

The oak is located in Yosemite Valley off of Northside Dr. and just past Village Dr Parking is along the road, but get there early it gets very crowded.
