USA Scenic Overlook of the Columbia River near Seattle
This is a surprisingly beautiful overlook of the Columbia River that's definitely worth a stop when driving down that road coming from the north. It's a possible connection between Palouse Falls and Seattle, so depending on the timing this is combinable.
Photography Tips
Adding a person in your photo can help a lot to create a better dimension. Especially sunset is perfect for this spot and depending on where you are standing, the river can get quite bright, so make sure to position the person in a way that leads the eye of the viewer towards her or him.
Another beautiful part about this spot is the possibility to create a V-shape with the mountains and letting the river open to just one side, giving the photo a bit of direction instead of the river just being in the center and dividing the scene.
