USA Lanham Creek Waterfalls 1

This is a beautiful little waterfalls right off of the busy Highway 2 just east of Steven's Pass in Washington State. It involves a very short hike off of the road with several nice photo opportunities.

You will get a little wet so bring appropriate footwear. Approach from the right (west) side of the creek as this gives the best compositions. It is shaded so this is long exposure photography and will require a tripod and remote shutter release. If you come in the morning the sun will be off your left shoulder, perfect for your polarizing filter, so don't forget that.

Travel on Highway 2 to just east of Steven's Pass and turn off for the Nordic Center which is on the south side of the highway. Pull into the carpark just before the building and you will notice Lanham Creek on the left (south) side.
