USA Liberty Bell Meadow

If you go to the Washington Pass Overlook you drive right past this awesome site also featuring Liberty Bell and Early Winters Spire in Washington State. It is worth the tromp through the watery meadow for this view of the mountains.

I shot this morning and evening; both give different tones so cannot recommend one over the other. You will need your very wide angle lens. The sun is at right angles so don't forget your polarizer.

Drive Highway 20 to Washington Pass and look for the sign to the overlook on the north side. Just after entering the turnoff look to the north and the meadow is visible; park at the side of the road. There is a faint boot path to the meadow and then you will need to negotiate your way through soggy and wet grass which is probably worse in the spring. I am told that the mosquitoes are terrible in spring.
