This is one of the best spots to photograph Mandalay Bay and get light trails from the Las Vegas strip next to it. You can photograph further up the road, but the opposite side of the street has a lot of trees in the way, and the same side of the street has a lot of foreground distractions. This spot is the intersection of two streets.

From this angle, the setting sun gets reflected in the gold windows, so a golden hour is a great time to be here.

Travel Information

From Mandalay Bay: Leave the casino and walk south towards the Las Vegas sign.

From the Welcome To Las Vegas sign: Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing near the sign and head north on the west side of the road)

By bus: The Deuce bus stops at Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas sign.
