This shot was taken behind the Von Trapp Family Lodge. Baron Von Trapp of Austria and his family was the inspiration for the Hollywood film "The Sound of Music". The hotel itself has the flavor of an Austrian mountain lodge and is a tourist destination in of itself near Stowe Vermont. The grounds has miles of trails to enjoy but you need to buy a pass if you are not a guest of the hotel.
