USA Haleakala Outlook Red Hill
On Red Hill you will have the best view onto the Haleakala Observatory. Not only is it located in a unique location where you can see a million stars at night, it also is often in the clouds when it is a little rainy which makes for some cool mood.
Photography Tips
Even if it seems completely cloudy here and you can't see anything, it often pays off to wait for a while for it to clear up. When we were there, we waited 45min and did not see anything. But we were blessed with 3 seconds of an insanely beautiful sunset once the clouds ripped apart.
Travel Information
Just drive to the Red Hill lookout carpark and explore the area from here. Directly in front of the car park you will find lots of different interesting rock formations and outlooks.
