USA Rizal Park
This site is very near the classic view of Seattle from the 12th Ave. bridge. This, however, is from the south facing the city along the I-5 freeway. I think it is a better view of the city and more encompassing to include Harborview to the east of the freeway. It also allows some trees to frame the shot and is more isolated from the horde of other photographers along the bridge.
Photography Tips
Get there early to find it while still light. Use a stable tripod as the ground isn't even. I really like the blue hour shot with the cars' lights streaking in the S curve towards the city.
Travel Information
Drive across the 12th Ave bridge to the Rizal Park and park the car. Look for the dog walking park a little further south and up the hill from the bridge and head down the path once past the double gate. Scramble down the hill to a fence just overlooking the Mountain to Sound Trail.
