USA McGee Creek Canyon, California
This shot is taken about a twenty-minute walk west of the McGee Creek Trailhead parking lot. The location gives the best vantage point for the canyon. In the case of the original image, a painter had already taken the spot, so I decided to just put him in the shot. It ended up working pretty well.
Photography Tips
There is a potential shot at this spot year-round. However, in the fall, with the fall colors, the aspens that run along the creek at the base of the canyon and run up the canyon rim just show off amazing colors.
