USA Manzanar Memorial
The location is essentially the location of the shot by Ansel Adams of the memorial at the U.S National Park at Manzanar. The park is in the middle of the Owens Valley at the base of the Eastern Sierra in California. It was the home of one of the Japanese-American internment camps during WWII. Adams took an entire series of photos at this location and the one of the memorial is the most famous.

If you follow the road at the park to its westernmost point you will see the location.
Travel Information
The park is approximately 10 miles north of Lone Pine along U.S. Route 395, which runs along the base of the Eastern Sierra in the Owens Valley of California.
