USA Mountain peak near Inspiration Point

This spot in on a mountain peak near Inspiration Point. It gives you almost an unobstructed view of other mountain peaks and a good sunset view. It also gives your a good view of LA city below if the smog is not in the way.

It’s a fairly easy 1hr 15min downhill hike to here if you start Eaton Saddle Trailhead. However, heading backup can be more difficult and a little more treacherous as some parts of the trail is a little worn out. Taking the much longer route via Mt Lowe Rd is much easier as it’s a gradual incline but it will take about 2-2.5hrs total.
