USA SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
This spot is located within the viewing decks of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt in Manhattan. It's publicly accessible during opening hours for a fee. From time to time they also have special events for sunrise which I highly recommend capturing this scenery since the light only comes from behind during sunrise or 1-2 hours after. You want to head to the second floor and walk to the end, Turn around and you get this incredible view with all the mirrors around!
Photography Tips
Use a wide-angle lens to capture as much as possible. I waited roughly 90 min after sunrise to get the most light in the building from behind which helped to illuminate the scene.
Travel Information
Get a sunrise access ticket if you end up in Manhattan during a sunrise event. The Building is located right next to Grand Central Station and is easy to reach from every direction.
