USA Enchantments
This backpacking trip is said to be the most thought after in Washington State. Permits are hard to get. In 2016 over 15,000 people applied for the very few spots available each day. Permits are obtained through lottery which is held February each year. 4-6 days are recommended.
Day hiking is possible without permit. Trips beyond Colchuck Lake are considered strenuous.
