The view from the rooftop bar of the London House Hotel in Chicago is truly breathtaking. You're literally in the clouds. The glowing lights and the crowds downstairs create an atmosphere like no other. This view gives you a wide view of the city of Chicago.

Photography Tips

This is a new hot spot and can get very crowded, try to go on off peak times to get the best shots. I would try to get at a weekday to the rooftop.

It is opposite the trump tower at wacker drive.
Train: State/lake station.

It's probably impossible to use a tripod up there I guess?! Would have loved to know this spot when I was in Chicago... such a crazy beautiful view, thanks for sharing dear Enis!

Its a new rooftop bar, I don't think it was there when you visited Chicago. Tripod would be very risky, but I have heard that people have done it before, nonetheless I would stick to hand-held shots, because this way you won't be thrown out and can enjoy your time :)

That's a really nice place I would have loved to visit when I was in Chicago a few years ago. Is it free to get up there or do I have to be a guest of the hotel?

Free but I would encourage you to purchase a drink and linger.
