Travel Information

From Hilo, take hwy 19 heading towards Hamakua.
After mile marker 16, turn left on Leopolino Road.
Follow 1/3 mile to end and turn RIGHT on Old Mamalahoa Hwy. Drive in about 1/3 mile and you’ll will see signs by the old Umauma bridge. Turn left and follow the steep driveway a short distance to the visitors center.
