Terrific spot for both sunrise and sunset for an excellent view of South Sister.

Photography Tips

Use the rocks as an anchor in the foreground to show depth. I used a 10-stop ND filter to smoothen the water (8 seconds exposure).

Travel Information

You can park right in front of the spot. You will need an Oregon recreation pass which you get online. Worth every penny.
